Every company, from Apple Inc., Samsung, Xiaomi, Sony had something to tell their fans here.

The biggest highlight of the MWC is the launching of new phones globally as it makes sure the news of a new phone being launched reaches worldwide customers pretty quickly. Subsequently, many phones were launched at the MWC 2017. However, some phones did catch significant attention; not just ours, but almost everyone in the entire world. We have prepared a list of 7 such phones from the Mobile World Congress, 2017 for you.

Gionee M2017

Gionee may not be amongst the big players in the market, but that doesn’t mean Gionee cannot make good smartphones. With its sleek looks and super powerful features, the Gionee M2017 is definitely a phone that will surely make heads turn. A 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage is just the beginning. With a 518 ppi 5.7” QHD display and a massive 7000 mAh battery, Gionee has definitely made a beast of a phone. Although cameras are mainstream, it was the battery capacity that got us. The phone will easily last more than two days with that much charging power. Gionee M2017 is a phone for all big manufacturers to watch out for.

Nokia 3310

This phone must have been arguably the most talked about phone throughout the entire event. The Nokia 3310 (2017) is the ‘resurrection’ of the legendary Nokia 3310 that was launched way back in early 2000s. As Nokia announced the Android smartphones on a big scale for the first time, Nokia 3310 came, although not as a surprise (all thanks to rumours and spoilers), but as a pleasant news. The 3310 is definitely a feature phone, with just the basic phone features and a tiny camera – with no internet connectivity. Priced cheaply and mainly targeted for nostalgic people, Nokia will market it based on its durability and utility factors.

Moto G5 Plus

This phone came as a lot of relief for many fans as this phone was highly anticipated. Also, we had predicted the arrival of the Moto G5 Plus much before it was officially announced. With a 5.2 Inch 424 ppi FHD display, this phone will be launched in multiple variants with different RAM/Storage options. Even though a successor to the Moto G4 Plus, the specs aren’t buffed up much. It is the looks that Moto has given the G5 Plus that are so much premium.

Asus Zenfone AR

This was one phone that was a superb delight to just look at. With superb looks, beating almost every phone out there, the Zenfone will pack some serious power under the screen. With 8GB RAM and 64/128/256 GB options, ZenFone AR is the world’s first smartphone with Tango and Daydream by Google. Cameras are always a great feature from Asus. The Zenfone will have a 23 MP OIS PDAF camera with super resolution feature, along with a plethora of shooting modes to choose from. The Zenfone AR is setting a large new trend and we’re glad to be able to witness it.

Blackberry Keyone

Just about when people had begun thinking that the days of the Blackberry and Nokia, once the rulers of the cell phone world are over, both of them have bounced back with premium phones to take back their positions as number one phone makers. Blackberry Keyone has some amazing features and great specs to watch out for. Loaded with a physical ‘smart’ keypad, the Blackberry is back in ‘business’. Powered by android, made for businessmen coupled with some sweet looks, Keyone had us fall in love the device instantly.

LG G6

The LG G6 had us keep looking at the phone for quite a while. With a 5.7” screen and 18:9 aspect ratio, the LG G6 is a delight to hold and handle. With dual-lens camera, and QHD+ res screen, 4GB RAM and loads of internal storage, the LG G6 is sure to provide its users what they wish. A beautiful display coupled with Dolby Vision™ will definitely have superior picture quality for a more authentic cinematic viewing experience.

Huawei P10

The world’s largest comms. device maker is growing rapidly in the smartphone sector and the P10 was a stunning visual treat from Huawei. Dual-lens camera with Leica lenses. The 20+12 MP sensor works wonders on the photography capabilities of the camera. Beefed up with massive specs and robust physical characteristics, the Huawei P10 will definitely be a tough competition to a lot of the flagships out there.

These seven phones caught our attention and we’re expecting all of them to rock the market with their presence. The tech giants are mighty, but the underdogs are simply too good to be ignored. Our best wishes to all the companies for all their projects – both present and future.
