Apple Inc. is arguably the world’s most famous smartphone maker with more than a Billion devices sold so far globally. The company profits hugely every year not through just sales of the iPhones, but also through other their other products. The company has announced the launch of two special iPhones – in red color. The iPhone 7 Red and iPhone 7 Plus Red.
As the name suggests, both the iPhones will be red in color – rest of the features will remain essentially the same. The red iPhones come out as a part of Apple’s collaboration with RED, an NGO working for multiple causes in entire Africa. The move comes as a way of raising money for helping people in sub-saharan Africa; a part of the money will go towards funding the cause.
The special edition phones have a vibrant red Aluminium finish. The phones will be launched in 128GB and 256GB variants and will be available for purchase in Dubai and rest of UAE friday onwards. The iPhone 7 Red will be available from AED 2,999 while iPhone 7 Plus Red will start at AED 3,499.
The phones will be shipped with earpods along with a lightning connector, a USB charging cable, 5W USB Power Adapter and Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack converter. The phone launches on 24 March 2017 and will be available across all Apple stores and certified resellers.
We wish the best of luck to Apple for their noble cause, trying to help people in Africa get rid of the problem of HIV and to give the people of Africa a new generation free from the deadly infection.
Good job Apple! Keep it up!
