Samsung Galaxy Note 8, as we all know is making news every single day now! What was earlier just a set of rumours, is now almost a confirmed news. That includes the dual-camera, 6GB RAM, SnapDragon 836 processor, etc. None of that is new for us anymore. What’s new is the latest report that we have received from our sources; that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have the 3D touch feature installed for an amazing user interface. No phone in the entire Android segment has been given the 3D touch sense before. If this latest Note 8 rumour is to be believed, we might just get to see a breakthrough, non-mainstream feature that would clearly render the phone a unique Android flagship device.
The 3-D touch feature is currently available in only Apple phones, starting with the iPhone 6. The feature was introduced by Apple in 2015 with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S. This feature had created a lot of hype and people flocked to buy the phone at Apple stores. They have continued the feature in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and it’s most likely to continue in all iPhones in the future. With Samsung bringing the feature in its devices, this will kill the monopoly Apple phones. This will also boost the sales of the company by a tremendous margin.
3-D touch is a technology that not only detects the presence of a finger on the capacitive display but also recognizes the amount of force that’s been applied. There’s a different response by the device to ‘pressing’ your finger against the screen, ‘tapping lightly’ and ‘tapping heavily’ etc. This allows for easier access for the user to access the device and to record different responses for different reactions or gestures. The Note 8 will surpass any other featured flagship Android phone present in the market in terms of usability with this feature.
Another news about the Galaxy Note 8 that’s been doing rounds is that the phone has been tipped to be made available in eight colour variants. These latest colour variants were spotted on Weibo some time ago, and after a little scrutiny, we have found reasons to believe this may indeed be true, as the images look quite convincing. As per the image, the colours are the typical Gold, black colour dubbed by Samsung as Midnight Black, silver named Arctic Silver, Orchid Gray, usual blue colour that Samsung markets a Coral Blue, a darker shade Dark Blue, Pink and Deep Sea Blue. The image clearly shows dual-camera on the device, and the S-Pen will match the colour of the variant. Also, some wallpapers have been shared to strengthen the story.
All these news are quite convincing; we are finding reasons to believe that the story may indeed be true, though Samsung hasn’t said anything on the rumour. May be Samsung is enjoying the fact that the phone is garnering so much attention. Be whatever the case may, take it lightly for now. But the news does carry some weight. We’ll wait for the launch – the phone is coming very soon.
