OnePlus is a brand that has taken the world by storm. According to latest reports that we received, OnePlus will be apparently launched in China on June 22. The OnePlus 5 will be priced very competitively to kill all the competition in the flagship segment. The company has been letting rumours and leaks go wild for quite some time now and has been building hype about the phone all around. People all around have been making sometimes wild and sometimes calculated guesses as to how the phone will turn out to be. OnePlus has finally revealed their device and have released the first look photos for fans and critics.
When they launched their first ever device, the OnePlus One, people flocked to get an invite and book one phone for themselves. With a promise of unlimited software updates and a great hardware, the OnePlus One became an instant hit amongst the public. The phone rivalled all the flagships present in the market at that time. And cost only half the price. This was great news for all tech geeks and people who couldn’t afford very expensive phones and were looking for cheaper alternatives.
The company continued this trend with the OnePlus Two and OnePlus 3, but later on opened up for public and the sales only went up. The OnePlus 3T set great benchmark records showcasing its ability. The OnePlus 5 is expected to be no less in performance than even the current world’s best device – the Galaxy S8. Our phone will run on a SnapDragon 835 SoC, Octa-Core chipset and will run with 8GB of RAM. In an era when 4GB is more than sufficient, the OnePlus 5 will run on 8 Gigabytes of RAM! This is enough to run a train of applications on the phone, and the device wouldn’t even budge. To top it up, there’s going to 128GB of internal memory. This much storage on the phone will easily last a lifetime.
OnePlus even tweeted this on May 29th:

But that’s not where this story ends – we have a 3500 mAh battery lined up as well. The OnePlus 3T itself was a huge power saver and performance optimising device – just imagine the periods the new phone will go on without having to hit the sockets. The battery is going to be of Li-Polymer type and will last more than a day if the rumours are to be believed.
Do take a look at our test video of the OnePlus 3T’s battery performance; we were highly impressed by it. The OnePlus 5 will surely perform better than this one.
Happy waiting. 🙂
