After months of rumours and speculations, Samsung launched three Galaxy J series smartphones – namely Galaxy J3, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7. These new phones promise to be better than their previous versions in terms of upgrades, camera, and obviously, performance.
The smartphones of Samsung J series are affordable Android phones which may not have high-end features like the premium phones like Samsung Galaxy S8, but still perform well in the emerging market around the globe. New phones of J series come with a full metal body similar to Samsung Galaxy S7.
Samsung Galaxy J3(2017)
Samsung Galaxy J3 is an entry-level model of the J Series which has a 5-inch HD TFT display with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage which can be expanded. It runs on the Exynos 7570 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz with a capacity of 2400mAH. Amazing moments can be captured from this device as it has a 13MP rear camera and 2MP on the front.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 will be available in the colours black and gold and the price expected for this is AED 899.
Samsung Galaxy J5(2017)
Samsung Galaxy J5 has a bigger 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display powered by a 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 processor. It also comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. Snaps can be taken from its 13MP rear camera and 5MP in the front. This Nougat phone has a battery capacity of 3000mAH which will also be available in black and gold colour.
The improvements we can see in J5 from its previous version is the inclusion of the fingerprint scanner and a flash in the front. It also has an improvised sensor with a f/1.7 aperture lens. The price of this phone is expected to be AED 1199.
Samsung Galaxy J7(2017)
Looking at the third and final phone released, the Samsung Galaxy J7 comes with a slightly bigger 5.5-inch full HD display which runs on a 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor. This smartphone features 3GB of RAM and 16GB expandable storage.
Photos can be taken with a 13MP+13MP camera which can be backed by the battery with a whopping capacity of 3600mAH. This phone will run on Nougat.Only this phone in the trio supports the USB type-C port while the two variants connect via micro USB port.
The expected price of this super device is AED 1499.
The changes that one can observe is the design, addition of fingerprint sensor, VoLTE support; and the fact that all the three run on Nougat.
