It looks like the world really is more than just eager to lay their hands on any upcoming phones from Samsung. It hasn’t been long since the last news from Samsung was about the Note 8; the phone has created so much hype, that some ‘leaks’ are popping up every other day. The latest news we have gathered about it concerns the renders of the most recent phone from the smartphone giant, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. They portray a Galaxy Note 8, based on the rumours that were making rounds recently. The upcoming phablet has its specifications almost confirmed. What remains to be confirmed is how is it going to look.

The latest renders from 91mobiles, apparently leaked from an online leakster OnLeaks, show a large phone, probably a 6.3-inch phablet that has a display very similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S8, the current flagship phone from the manufacturer. The renders show an ‘infinity’ display, that is way larger than the S8, and is believed to be super AMOLED screen, similar to the S8 and S8 Plus. We believe the resolution of the display will be 1440p QHD+, given that Samsung did not install a 4K screen on any of their devices, despite being supported by the processor.

Also, there will probably be no wireless charging support either, as the S8 did not incorporate it. Somehow, we get the feeling that Samsung will not install it in their next device either. Be informed that the Snapdragon 835 chipset supports wireless charging and so does 836. However, Samsung somehow doesn’t seem very keen on installing every new technology on their phones; they’re perhaps taking it slow, or don’t want to rush into new technology without taking the time to test and verify its trustability.

Note 8 may feature Snapdragon 836 too!

Another classic example of this attitude of the smartphones giant is that the Note 8 will be sporting a dual-camera this time; the same can easily be seen from the renders. We can see a dual-camera system in the renders. Samsung hasn’t brought a dual-lens camera before. The iPhone 7 Plus was launched long ago, so was the Huawei Honor 6X.  Besides the dual-camera panel, we can see a fingerprint scanner sitting just like the S8 and S8 Plus. Apparently, the plans by Samsung to embed the fingerprint scanner beneath an OLED panel haven’t been working out, and that has led to the leaks showing the fingerprint scanner besides the panel.

Judging by the renders, the Galaxy Note 8 will be a bulky phone, if they turn out to be accurate. On the other hand, Samsung has released a new colour variant of the S8; the new variant will be Rose Pink in colour. The phone is available for purchase in Midnight Black, Coral Blue, Orchid Grey, Arctic Silver and Maple Gold colours. The addition of a new colour will make the phone look a little ‘cute,’ according to a lot of comments from the female section. However, the Rose Pink variant is currently limited to Taiwan, and Samsung hasn’t released any plans to release it to the rest of the world. Let’s hope they do.
