Acer is a multinational Taiwanese company which has its roots in hardware and electronic components. From tablets to mobiles, laptops to tablets, you will see Acer products are doing good in all over the world from quite a long time. Their last smartphone phone was at huge success too, and now they are again in the news for their new mobile: Acer Liquid Z6.
Acer Liquid Z6 is the successor of Liquid Z6 which is again a mid-range device that is great in looks but fails to impress when it comes to hardware specifications. Though the official launch date is not out for Acer Liquid Z6, few of the details are already out.

As far as the design of the Acer Liquid Z6 is concerned, it will be a simple bar design with rounded curves on all the 4 sites. The phone is sleek and can easily be operated by one hand. As this is a mid-range phone, we can expect 5 inches screen with multi-touch functionality. Also, rumored that bottom of Acer Liquid Z6 will have capacitive buttons which we backlighted so that you can easily work with them in low light. The screen will be of HD quality supporting 720 x 1280 pixels and pixel density of 294 ppi which is fine if not too bad.
The back of the Acer Liquid Z6 will have camera unit and dual-tone flash below it. The bottom of the phone's back will be carrying speaker grill so make sure you keep the phone opposite when listening to the music. Acer Liquid Z6 will be light in weight and might come in three colors: White, Gold, and Black.
Acer Liquid Z6 is a mid-range device, but rumors suggest us that it will come with MediaTek MT6737 which is not popular among other powerful processors. Not only that, Acer Liquid Z6 is rumored to have only 1GB of RAM, which is actually very low when compared to the devices in this similar range. We can only pray that Acer Liquid Z6 comes with at least 2GB of RAM when officially launched.
Not only processing power, but Acer Liquid Z6 is also rumored to come with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and might not upgrade to the latest Android version, i.e., Nougat 7.0.
Acer Liquid Z6 may not have a fingerprint sensor which is surely a needed feature these days. Other than that, it will come with regular sensors like Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer. The phone will be expected to have 8GB internal memory and can be expanded up to 32 GB through a microSD card.
We don't expect much more from Acer Liquid Z6 when it comes to camera specifications after seeing the above details. The phone is rumored to arrive with the 8MP camera which is going to click photos fine in bright conditions but may fail poorly in low light. The front camera will have 2 MP which is again very low and surely a disappoint those who love to take selfies from their mobiles. Some of the features of camera app are digital zoom, auto flash, face detection, touch to focus which are very necessary these days might be introduced in this phone.
We cannot expect too much from Acer Liquid Z6 in battery terms too, as it is rumored only to have 2000 mAh. It is advisable to carry out battery backup or power bank if your usage is more and always on the move. The Acer Liquid Z6 will have 3.5 headphone jack. It may not come with earphones in final packaging. Reverse charging and fast-charging support are out of the question for sure.
Acer Liquid Z6 will have dual-Sim slots, and both will support micro-SIM. However, only SIM1 will support 4G and 3G bands while only 2G support is there in SIM2. The microSD card slot will have a dedicated place unlike hybrid SIM slots where you can put two SIMs at a time or one SIM and one SD card. The dedicated microSD card slot is there and will supports cards upto 32GB which is quite fine. As far as connectivity options are concerned, Acer Liquid Z6 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n and Bluetooth v4 for wireless connectivity. The phone will also have Accelerometer, Proximity and Ambient Light sensor.
