Apple launched its first iPad Pro in the year 2015, and it made a huge impact in the tablet market. Not only the Apple iPad Pro features a humongous 12.9” display, but it also came loaded with a variety of features. The iPad Pro featured with a unique Apple pencil and Smart Keyboard, which according to Apple signifies the “Pro” tag. Recently, Apple launched its second iPad Pro that featured with 9.7” inches display. The Apple iPad Pro 9.7” seems to be a smaller version of Apple iPad 12.9” with additional features loaded up its sleeve. So, let’s see how this tablet works in real life.
The Apple iPad Pro 9.7 looks just like its elder sibling minus it's toned downsize. The iPad features the same industrial design we witness in all Apple’s iPads. The rear panel is completely flat which curves up near the edges and joins with the cover glass. The speaker holes are grilled both on top and bottom of the chassis, thus providing four-speaker audio arrangement. This iPad like other carries the unique aura of premium-ness and looks exceptionally well. The external dimensions of the iPad are 9.45 x 6.67 x 0.24 mm and weighs around 437 g for Wi-Fi only model and weighs 444 g for Wi-Fi + LTE model. To make the display stronger, it is provided with a scratch-resistant glass, oleophobic coating. The 9.7 inches LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display provided in the iPad provides a screen resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.
