Asus is well prepared to release another higher budgetary smartphone in its Zenfone series. The phone is expected to balance both affordability and features to provide better performance to the consumers. The upcoming Zenfone 4 Max Pro is a dual SIM phone that sports 5.5-inches screen, dual primary camera, best battery backup, huge internal memory and many other features which are rare to avail at a budgetary price.
Asus has a plan to launch Zenfone 4 Max Pro in the fourth quarter of 2017. The device will be flaunted in multiple colors like Sunlight Gold, Deepsea Blue, and Rose Pink. The smartphone comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor which would run on Android Nougat. It’s the time to learn more about this new Zenfone to check how far will it be able to stand superior to previous phones in the series.

The same can be expected with Zenfone 4 Max Pro which comes with a glossy panel and a metallic ring across the edges. The dual cameras with LED flash are placed on the upper side of the rear panel. The front side has a secondary camera along with speaker on the top of the screen and microphone on the bottom. At the end of the screen, there is an external home button. The phone measures 156.90 x 75.60 x 7.60 mm in dimensions and weighs 175grams. Because of the larger screen size, the device appears little big and heavy to use, but the look and feel are classy.
The Asus Max Pro would host 5.5-inches IPS LCD screen which stands 70.4% on screen to body ratio. The screen is of HD type which will have the resolution of 720*1280 pixels. The screen does not have any protection but according to the few sources, Asus would release the phone in Full HD which will be a better display feature at the affordable price range.
Asus is expected to embed Snapdragon 430 in its upcoming Zenfone 4 Max Pro. The would run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and would come with octa-core processor clocked to 1.4 GHz. The Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 will enable smooth performance and multitasking without any lags. According to the leaked sources, the device is expected to host a huge 6GB RAM which if turns to be true, will add wings to its performance. It comes with inbuilt memory space of 32GB which is further expandable up to 256GB. With this huge expandable memory option, the user of the device will never have to compromise on the storage.
The phone is enabled with dual SIM option where one of the SIMs is of nano type and other being micro. Both the SIMs will support internet connectivity up to 4G with VoLTE.
The 4 Max Pro is expected to flaunt dual primary cameras of 16MP and 5MP and is accompanied with LED flash. The dual cameras will give better picture quality with fine images even in dull lighting conditions. The camera will be embedded with features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama HDR, etc. The secondary camera on the front is designed exclusively for selfie shooters with 16MP without flash. The high-resolution camera on the front side will be a treat at mid-range pricing. The selfie camera can click your pictures and can also support video calling.
The cameras are designed to perform video recording of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. This will produce HD videos on the phone.
Though there is not much information on the audio and video formats that can be played on this device, we can just confirm that the apart from microphone and speakers, the phone also host FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio jack.
The battery capacity of the upcoming Asus Zenfone is expected to be huge enough to provide backup for more than a day even when used moderately. The 5000 mAh battery is a Li-Po non-removable battery which is again expected to host ‘Turbo Charge’ feature for quick charging whenever needed.
The dual SIM smartphone is enabled for 4G internet but the band connectivity are not confirmed. Bluetooth v4.2, Wifi, Wifi Direct, Hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, etc. are few of the options that the phone would host for wireless connectivity. Among the wired connectivity options, the device is expected to have USB on-the-go.
The phone comes with four sensors which are Fingerprint, Accelerometer, Proximity, and Gyroscope.
