This set has given a significant profit from this manufacturer in the smartphone industry. These Zenfone series phones are known to function exclusively on the Asus Zen UI as its user interface. It possesses Android Operating system and works on Intel Atom processor.

This smartphone announced in the Zen Festival, which held in Las Vegas. This smartphone first announces sometime in June 2015. Also, due the plastic casing, this smartphone does not feel premium hold. Moreover, this smartphone comes with highly highlighted volume and power buttons.The overall dimensions of this smartphone are pretty reasonable. It comes with a length of 156.5 mm. The breadth of this smartphone is 77.2 mm. The thickness though is around a good 10.8mm, making this phone pretty bulky and thick. The smartphone weighs around 170 g. It makes the phone fall into the overweight category.
Asus Zenfone Selfie smartphone comes with a colour IPS Capacitive touch screen. This display is 5.5 inches in size and has 16 M colour feature which enhances its vibrancy. The display operates with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Also, it has the pixel density of 403 ppi. This smartphone functions smoothly with the multi-touch feature. The screen comes with extra protection from the Oleophobic coating that specifically designed for this smartphone in addition to the Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It does not possess a secondary display. Also, it comes in three different colours White and Pink and Aqua Blue.
It functions on the Android OS v 5.0 ( Lollipop ) just like the other Zenfones which operate on the Android OS. But this smartphone comes with the feasible option of upgrading the OS to Android v 6.0 (Marshmallow) in the future. The chipset used is Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615. Also, the central processing is taken care by a pair of Quad – Core processors. It uses two Cortex - A53 processors. It runs at a speed of 1.7 GHz. It uses the Asus Zen UI as the software interface. User usable memory would be lesser than 16 GB though. But good to see that it has an external microSD and TransFlash slot for expandable memory requirements. The maximum limit to which the smartphone supports expansion is 128 GB. Another good feature is that it comes with a good 3GB RAM.

This smart phone’s primary camera comes with an LED (dual tone) flash to provide ample light in cases of need. The size of the sensor used here is 1/3 inches. Hence, better pictures can be captured. The additional supportive features which come along are Auto focus, geo–tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and Panorama. By this, we can easily assume that it would surely have an above average standby as well as talk time. So, overall on the battery end, this phone is pretty decent. This smartphone comes with the Dual sim facility. Both the sims are compatible with the GSM connectivity. Both of the sims are of the micro sim type. Both the sims support 3G. Also, both sims are compatible with 4G. It has other basic wireless network features like GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It connects using 802.11 b/g/n as its Wi-Fi standard. The major advantages of this smartphone are it's amazing front cameras, smooth UI, and impressive display. The disadvantages though are its processor speed, light sensitivity, and weight.
