Coolpad this time, is launching a smartphone for the offline market along with online. The Note 5 Lite C is an upcoming phone from Coolpad which would run on Android 7.1 Nougat at a very affordable price. The company is going to target budgeted range of Android users. The phone comes with 5-inches capacitive screen and is packed with quad-core processor backed with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and a moderate battery of 2500 mAh.
The Note 5 Lite C is expected to flaunt in two colors – Grey and Gold. It is a dual SIM mobile and supports 4G connectivity with VoLTE. The device would host fingerprint scanner which will be an exciting feature for budgeted users and is expected to be launched in August 2017.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite C is the toned version of the Note 5 Lite which was launched during the first half of 2017. Design-wise, the device has a metallic finish with a primary camera and fingerprint scanner on the rear side. The power key is housed on the right side whereas the volume button is placed on the left. On the front side, there is a secondary camera and the 3.5mm audio jack on the top edge. The speaker grilles and micro-USB port are seen at the bottom of the phone. The capacitive keys are available for navigation, but the home button is absent in the front.
The device features 5-inches of Capacitive HD screen of 720 x 1280 pixels along with 294 ppi pixel density. Though the screen is not that great, but, it is cool enough to produce clear and bright display quality. The phone’s dimensions are measured as 142.4 x 70.4 x 7.95mm and it weighs 139 grams only. The size as well as weight of the phone are both comfortable and handy to carry in pocket or hand.
The Note 5 Lite C will run on the latest Android 7.1 version i.e., Nougat and host Snapdragon 210 Quad-core processor of 1.1 GHz Cortex A7. It is accompanied with 2GB RAM and GPU of Adreno 304. The processor is moderate and so the user might face difficulty while playing heavy games or multitasking. Anyhow for the budgeted range, having a Snapdragon chipset is also advantageous.
The upcoming Coolpad smartphone is a dual SIM handset, and both the SIM slots are enhanced to support 4G with VoLTE. The phone would have the internal storage of 16GB, and the same is expandable upto 64GB via microSD card slot. The available memory space is sufficient enough to store required information and at a budgeted price the feature is really exciting.
The primary camera on the rear side is of 8MP f/2.4 aperture with LED flash and the secondary camera on the front side is of 5MP f/2.4 aperture. The cameras also supports video recording and video calling. For the given price range, having a rear and a front shooters with the given resolutions are on par with the other handsets. The front camera can be easily accommodated for video calling.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite C would play audio files of formats like MP3, AAC, and WMA; video files of formats like MP4, AMR, AAC and WMA. It also comes with FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
The performance of the Note 5 Lite C is backed with a battery of 2500 mAh capacity. The battery is non-removable. It is expected to give 240 hours of standby time.
When it comes to connectivity, the Note 5 Lite supports internet of 2G, 3G and 4G with VoLTE. Among the wireless connectivity options, it has GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, etc. The wired connectivity options for this device include micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Note 5 Lite C offers few sensors like Fingerprint, Proximity, Accelerometer, and Ambient Light.
