HTC Desire A17

HTC is a Taiwan based consumer electronic company, famous for coming up with smartphones time to time with unique features and powerful components. In recent times, HTC lost its charm because of many other companies surpassing them with powerful smartphones and that too at low prices. However, HTC is once again in the news as it is coming with new smartphone named HTC Desire A17 which is a medium budget phone. HTC Desire A17 is rumored to announce soon, and most expectedly it will come with HTC's flagship phone named as HTC bolt.

It is just the news, and we can expect that HTC Desire A17 will bring up some new features that will wow the customers who are looking for a medium budget smartphone. We have tried to find out what HTC Desire A17 has in store for you as per the rumors and speculations available till now.

If we talk about the design of HTC Desire A17, it might inherit the looks of HTC Desire 530 which was codenamed HTC A16 which was appreciated by the people all around the world. HTC Desire A17 is rumored to come in three colors: White, Gray, and Gold. HTC Desire A17 is expected to have the same screen size as HTC A16 which might be 5 inches with a screen resolution of 720 x 1080 P. The upper and lower part of the phone have speaker grill that is expected to produce an excellent sound while on loudspeaker mode.

Other than that, HTC Desire A17 might have LED-backlit IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors for the brighter screen and smooth touch gestures. According to rumors, HTC Desire A17 might come with a fingerprint sensor on the backside. As most of the phones in this price range are having the same from quite a long time.

HTC Desire A17 is rumored to come with Snapdragon 410 chipset having a quad-core processor and the Adreno 304 GPU which we feel is on the lower side. However, HTC is always known for doing great software and hardware optimization which will surely make it fast and non-lagging smartphone out there. Other than that, HTC Desire A17 will have all the major sensors like Fingerprint, Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, Compass, Barometer, etc.

HTC Desire A17 is expected to come in two variants 16GB and 32 GB internal memory having 2GB and 3GB RAM respectively. HTC Desire will also have dedicated microSD slot which will support up to 2TB for your additional storage requirements. It is expected that HTC Desire A17 will come with Android 6.0.1 out of the box with HTC own skin, i.e. Sense 8 running on the top.

It is important to mention that HTC camera quality is always topnotch and we can expect the same from HTC Desire A17. The phone is rumored to come with 12 MP front camera and for those who love to click selfies, it will have a 5MP front camera with HTC own beautification software which will release soon.

HTC Desire A17 rear camera will have a f/2.4 aperture, while the front camera of the handset sports f/2.8 aperture as rumors suggested. HTC Desire A17 might come with front flash to click selfies when the light around is not enough. Fingers crossed for this one!

Comparing with Desire 530 which has only 2200 mAh battery, we believe that Desire A17 will come with 3000 mAh battery and has fast-charging support which is essential in today's fast pace life. The rumors suggest HTC Desire A17 will have extreme power saving mode that will easily save your battery to die for at least 3-4 hours. The battery will be non-removable.

HTC Desire A17 sports dual SIM slots and both will support Nano SIMs. Both the SIMs will support 4G. However, we hope that HTC desire A17 will not come with a Hybrid Dual SIM slot and has individual card slot as the internal memory is not enough.

As far as connectivity options are concerned, HTC Desire A17 will come with 4G support. Other than that, HTC Desire A17 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n and Bluetooth v4 for wireless connectivity. The phone will also have Accelerometer, Proximity, and Ambient Light sensor.
