HTC has always been one of the key players in the smartphone industry. Not only their smartphones have a premium look but also have the latest hardware. If we talk about the smartphone manufacturers that are passionate about creating one of the best flagships, HTC, inevitably crosses our minds. They have been able to create off the best flagship smartphones ever witnessed by the markets. Due to their exceptional phones, the company has generated a loyal fan following too. Recently, there has been a lot of rumour regarding the next-gen “HTC One X10” smartphone, which would act as a successor to the HTC One X9. So, let’s see how this new flagship could turn out to be in real life.
It is rumoured that the phone would share the same design cues as that of predecessor i.e. HTC One X9. We believe that the phone shall feature the same hit design of HTC One X9 and would come with the same unibody design and rich exterior. We believe that the phone’s body would be made from the same aircraft grade aluminium used in One X9. The volume rocker and the power buttons would be provided on the right edge of the phone, while the headphone jack shall be provided on the top edge of the phone. We have currently no information regarding the colour variants and dimensions of the phone. However, we expect that this phone would not see much changes in the design aspect of the phone. According to the online rumours, the HTC One X10 would be featured with a 6.0 inch full-HD IPS LCD that would provide a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display is also expected to be provided with a Corning Gorilla Glass protection, just like its predecessor. The display of the phone is expected to be fantastic, and one can see easily as one of the best features of the phone. Just like it's predecessor we hope that this phone shall have fantastic viewing angles and sunlight legibility.
According to the online rumours, the phone is expected to feature a 2.35 GHz MediaTek Helio X20 Deca-Core processor that would be backed by a 4GB of RAM. If the specs turn out to be same or even better, then we can surely expect an incredible performance. Playing heavy apps and videos won’t be a problem and playing heavy 3D games would be certainly an enjoyable experience. The phone is expected to run on Android platform, and we hope it would feature with latest Android version i.e. Nougat. The most recent version of HTC Sense is also expected to come with the phone. The HTC One X10 is supposed to have 64GB of internal storage which could be further expanded up to 128GB using the microSD card slot. The phone shall support dual SIM and would support 4G/LTE networks.
It has been rumoured that the HTC One X10 might feature with a 16 MP primary rear camera and a 8 MP front camera. The primary camera’s specifications look improved compared to the one provided in HTC One X9. The primary camera shall feature Optical image stabilisation, Autofocus, Back-illuminated sensor (BSI) and dual colour dual-LED flashlight. The camera features would include Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus. Shooting modes should include Continuous Shooting and High Dynamic Range mode (HDR). The camera would do 4k HD video recording. The camera quality of the HTC One X10 is expected to be impressive as its predecessor was able to capture some excellent pics. The audio quality of the HTC One X9 was amazing, and we hope the HTC One X10 will carry the legacy forward. A 3.5 mm jack with active noise cancellation and a dedicated mic is also expected to be provided with the phone.
It is believed that the phone shall feature a 3300 mAh non-user replaceable battery. It is expected that the HTC One X10 would support Quick Charging Talking about connectivity options, the phone is expected to feature Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/b/g/n/n 5GHz, Wi-Fi Direct, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC and USB OTG. A fingerprint scanner is also expected to be provided in the home button. The other sensors that are expected in the phone are the Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass and Gyroscope.
