HTC U (Ocean) is the new and upcoming phone from HTC which is supposed to be released in April 2017. Although currently we have nothing about the phone, there are a number of rumors going around which gives us a fair idea about how the phone is going to be. One of the most stunning features about the phone is going to be Edge Senses, where the sensors will be attached to the sides of the phone so that users can perform a lot of activities by just squeezing the phone. It also is rumored to have a metal frame that can be swiped for notifications. This feature will help in achieving a lot of functions such as running multiple apps. This phone is made for the high-end users. It is believed to be the successor of HTC 10.
The phone will have a 5.5 inches QHD display for better and brighter images and will be able to uphold all the details and vivid colors. We’re anticipating a WQHD IPS LCD display which provides better output to the users. The display of HTC U (Ocean) is equipped with a touch sensitive frame which also has the new interface from HTC known as Sense 9. The external memory can be expanded with the help of a MicroSD card. It will also include a fingerprint scanner for better usage. HTC U (Ocean) will also be equipped with the HTC Sense Link Functionality which will allow you to connect the phone to a PC or laptop and access features such as copy paste, desktop notifications and sharing various readings between devices. The phone will also have a HTC Sense Companion which will detect the usage patterns of the user and customize itself accordingly. This will help in gaining tips and suggestion as per the usage pattern.
It has been rumored that HTC U (Ocean) will be sporting a 12 MP rear camera along with a 16 MP front camera. The camera will be equipped with HDR + which will do real time HDR processing even before the picture has been clicked, it will also have a viewfinder which will help in getting better pictures. HTC U (Ocean) is going to be a boon for videographers as it will have a microphone that will allow you to capture 3D sound. The audio capturing system will also include a Hi-Res system which will allow lossless audio capturing while taking a video.
The phone has a lithium ion battery which is 3000 mAh in power that will provide you with ample battery life to use all the awesome hardware and software provided by the phone. The battery life of the phone will further be saved by the HTC Sense Companion which will customize the phone according to the usage pattern. As far as connectivity is concerned, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2.4 GHz and 5GHz will be available with the phone to make your life easy.
