Huawei has been producing amazing flagships for quite some time now. They have also collaborated with Google, to manufacture its Nexus smartphones. One thing they don’t seem to compromise on is their uniqueness. They are not into the rat race of launching hordes of mobile phone in the market, instead they launch just a few smartphones done right. Recently, there has been rumors regarding the upcoming flagship device of Huawei i.e. Honor V9. Let’s see what we know about this smartphone.
The phone is expected to come with the same hit design of its predecessor, Honor V8. The phone will sport the same unibody design that would be topped with eye-catching exteriors. The fingerprint scanner shall be provided on the back of the phone, just below the camera module. The volume rocker and the power button are expected to be provided on the right edge of the phone. The external dimensions of the phone are expected to be 157×77.5×6.97 mm and it is expected to weigh around 184 grams. It is believed that the phone will feature a 5.7 inch ultra-HD AMOLED display that would provide a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The display is not expected to be provided with a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The qHD display shall house approximately 501 ppi and will certainly provide a pleasurable viewing experience to its users. The qHD display shall get bright enough that there would be no problem related to the sunlight legibility of the phone. The display is bound to provide amazing viewing angles too. Overall the phone will have amazing design and beautiful display.
According to the online rumors, the phone is expected to feature an Octa core processor that would be backed by a Huawei Kirin 960 chipset. The Kirin chipset will be able to provide a power packed performance. Users would be able to do heavy multitasking on the phone, without experiencing any lags or glitches. At such specs, playing heavy apps and videos won’t be a problem, as the rumored Mali G71 chipset will be able to handle all the heavy graphic needs. The phone is expected to run on Android platform and we hope that the phone would run on Android version 7.0 i.e. Nougat with the help of EMUI 5.0. The phone is expected to come in two different models: one with internal storage of 64GB and another with 128GB, which again will be fairly impressive. It is also believed that a huge 6GB of RAM would be provided in the phone, that would be enough all kinds of tasks. We currently have no information about the fact that the internal storage could be kept expandable or not. The phone might support dual SIM but would definitely support 4G/LTE networks.
It is rumored that the phone will be given a dual-lens 12MP + 2MP rear camera, backed by phase detection autofocus and LED flashlight. The camera features would include Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus. Shooting modes should include Continuous Shooting and High Dynamic Range mode (HDR). HD video recording would be done by the camera. The phone’s front camera would be an 8MP auto-focus camera. The camera specs rumored in the upcoming phone seems to be exactly similar to its predecessor i.e. Honor V8. With the rumored specifications one can easily expect to capture amazing images from the phone. The front shooter has the potential to take impressive selfies for its users. A loudspeaker and a 3.5 mm jack with active noise cancellation and dedicated mic is also expected to be provided with the phone.
According to the leaked specs online, the phone’s battery capacity will be 3900 mAh, and it will be a Li-Ion non-removable battery. It is rumored that the battery would support quick charging. With the rumored battery specs, one can expect the phone to run easily for a day with heavy usage. Talking about connectivity options, the phone is expected to to have all other basic features such as Wi-Fi a/b/g/nac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), dual-band, DLNA, WiFi-Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.2, A2DP, LE, A-GPS, GLONASS/ BDS (market dependant), NFC, an Infrared port and a USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. The sensors that are expected in the phone are Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.
