Huawei always aims to provide sophisticated cameras and with their upcoming smartphone, there is already a rumor that it will have triple camera arrangement. The Huawei P20 Plus is expected to be the company’s one of the high-end models. The phone is expected to be taller than the predecessor, Huawei P20. As designed to belong premium category, the P20 Plus would focus on artificial intelligence. The battery backup of the upcoming device would be 4000 mAh along with dash charging feature to provide uninterrupted usage. The device is categorized as Phablet because of it's 6.0 –inches long screen size.
The P20 Plus is aimed to target premium Android market. The release date is not yet confirmed by the manufacturers.
The upcoming Huawei P20 Plus is expected to flaunt a big 6-inches IPS LCD display capacitive touch and the screen is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass against scratches. The display is bright and legitimate even in bright sunlight.
The P20 Plus is wrapped in a metal body that makes it appear strong and premium in hands. The device measures 6.11 x 2.92 x 0.30 inches in dimensions, though the weight is not yet known. Being more than 6-inches tall, the smartphone can be considered as a Phablet. From the leaked images we can make out that the front camera is located above the screen. The rear cameras along with flash are on an extreme top left along with the emblem in the center. Similar to the predecessor, the volume controller and power button are located on the right side.
Huawei’s top-end model is expected to host features of superior performance. The P20 Plus would run on the latest Android OS, v8.1 Oreo. The HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core processor will execute the functioning of the smartphone. The strong processor is accompanied by a massive RAM of 8GB that ensures smooth, fast and lag-free performance. One can easily play high-graphic games while multitasking.
The P20 Plus hosts dual SIM slots which are enabled to provide up to 4G internet connectivity along with VoLTE. The internal memory is also huge, i.e., 128GB which is further expandable up to 256GB using a micro SD card slot. Even though the user doesn’t inculcate SD card, the default memory is large enough to store many apps and save lots of information. With the expandable memory option, one can use the phablet as a mini-laptop in which a large amount of images, videos, and other required information can be stored.
On the pattern of P20, the Huawei P20 Plus is expected to have triple rear camera feature of 16MP + 16MP + 8MP along with LED flash. The software features that the primary camera would include are touch-to-focus, self-timer, digital zoom, face detection, geo-tagging, etc. One can shoot in different modes like Panorama, HDR, and Burst mode. The secondary camera on the front side is also of 24MP without LED flash and is good enough to click bright and clear selfies.
Both the primary as well as secondary cameras can be used for video recording too.
The multimedia features of P20 Plus are expected to withstand user requirements. It can play audio and video formats of varied types. There is no inbuilt FM Radio but the phablet is accompanied by 3.55mm audio jack. The sound output is also supported by stereo speakers. The phone would host wireless screen sharing option.
The P20 Plus is backed by a big non-removable 4000mAh of Li-Ion type. The battery also supports quick charging feature and therefore would not go out of juice anytime.
The device hosts dual SIM which provides internet connectivity of 2G of GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz bands, 3G of HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz bands and 4G along with VoLTE. Apart from the internet, the other wireless connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.2, WLAN, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPRS, EDGE, Hotspot, NFC, etc and the wired connectivity is via micro USB Type C.
Huawei P20 Plus is expected to host many sensors and include fingerprint, compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer.
