LeEco has seriously upped their game in the smartphone industry, as the company is getting bolder day by day. The company holds massive ad campaigns and touts their phones having amazing build quality. Well, it seems that the ad campaigns are paying off as the company has been able to attract a decent customer base. The company will be launching its flagship smartphone LeEco Le 2s in the coming months, and it has already created a buzz in the market as the smartphone could be the world’s first smartphone to feature with a whopping 8GB of RAM. So, let’s see what this smartphone is rumoured to offer and as to how it may work in the real world.
The smartphone is expected to come with full metal unibody glass design, which would give this phone a premium appearance. The phone is expected to have a looped antenna design that shares much inspiration from iPhone 7. Looking at the leaked images online, it seems that the display curves at the sides thus adding to the beauty of the smartphone. The phone is expected to come with 5.5 inches IPS LCD or OLED Capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours and screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The phone may also feature a dual SIM facility for Nano-SIM. The display of the smartphone may turn out to be exceptionally well, as the images of the leaked smartphone show the display quality. Also, there will be no problems regarding the colour reproduction and with different viewing angles of the phone due to the curved screen of the phone.
The LeEco Le 2s will run on Android OS version 6.0.1, i.e. Marshmallow with the help of EUI 6.0. The phone will supposedly feature the next-gen Snapdragon 821 chipset backed with a Quad-core (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo) processor with Adreno 530 GPU. If the specs turn out to be what we predict then playing game and videos would be an amazing experience. Also, with these specs, one would not see any stutter even while playing heavily encoded videos. The LeEco Le 2s is expected to come with 64 GB (to be confirmed) of internal storage, while we are still not sure about the provision of microSD card slot for expansion of internal storage. The phone is also expected to come with 8GB of RAM, which again would be a benchmark in the smartphone industry.
The primary camera is expected to come with 25 MP Autofocus camera which would be supported by phase detection autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flashlight. But there is no proper confirmation about the primary camera as few leading channels also defining it as 16 MP. The camera shall also support Geo-tagging, Face detection, Touch focus, HDR, Panorama. With the expected camera specs, one can surely expect some high-quality picture. The videos are expected to be recorded at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps, 720p@120fps. The secondary camera is supposedly having 8MP shooter, thus seems capable enough to capture some amazing selfies.
The speakers provided in the Smartphone are expected to work great. The phone is expected to have a 3.5mm jack that would produce 24-bit/192kHz audio and support Dolby Atmos sound and active noise cancellation with dedicated mic. The phone is supposedly packed with all the features and sensors, such as fingerprint, proximity sensor, accelerometer, compass and gyroscope.
A non-removable Li-Po battery is expected to come with this smartphone. Though the battery specifications are unknown at present, one can easily expect the phone to have a huge battery. The LeEco Le 2s is expected to come with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/nac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.1 A2DP, LE, A-GPS GLONASS, Infrared Port and Type-C 1.0 reversible connector.
