Lenovo seems to have understood their strong suit of producing powerful, affordable smartphones and recently they launched their K series of smartphones. The new Lenovo K Series features entry level smartphones and come in three kinds of models i.e. the basic Lenovo K6, K6 Power, and the K6 Note. The one thing that remains the same in all these smartphones is the fact that they share the same Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. So, let’s see what Lenovo K6 has to offer to its users and at what price range?
The phone is expected to come with 5.0 inches IPS Capacitive touch-screen with 16M colors. The screen will supposedly provide 1080 x 1920 pixels with roughly 441 ppi and so you can expect the screen’s brightness and contrast to be perfectly well balanced. With the current specs, the display of this phone will surely not disappoint anyone. The design of the phone has been kept traditional and will surely appeal to many users. The phone will also feature a dual SIM facility for Nano-SIM.
The Lenovo K6 is expected to come with 16/32 GB internal storage which could further expand up to 256GB. The expandable memory of 256GB uses the 2 SIM slots. This Lenovo phone is supposedly having 2GB RAM, which would prove sufficient enough for providing lag-free experience for this smartphone.
The Lenovo K6 will run on Android OS version 6.0, Marshmallow. The phone will sport a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 chipset and Octa-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with Adreno 505. Though the chip seems to be from the lower end of Qualcomm Snapdragon family, it is expected that they would work wonderfully. Videos and games with these specs should work smoothly, but then again one might observe some stutter when playing heavy games that are more RAM intensive.
The primary shooter is expected to come with 13MP autofocus camera with LED flash, Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Face detection, HDR, Panorama features. The videos recorded could be little blurred as image stabilization is yet not confirmed on the phone. The videos are expected to be recorded at 1080p@30fps. The secondary camera supposedly has 8MP shooter, thus should give some pretty interesting selfies.
The audio quality of the Smartphone is expected to be nice, as it features the Dolby Atmos audio enhancement and active noise cancellation. The phone is supposedly packed with all the features and sensors. The best part about this smartphone is the addition of the fingerprint sensor, which is incredible at this price range. The messaging sector of the phone has been put into the SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Mail, IM and the browser has been set to HTML 5 with no java support. The photo/video editor, the Document viewer, has also been added to the phone.
The Lenovo K6 is expected to come with Non-Removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery, and so it can give an amazing battery backup. The battery is supposedly impressive as one can use the phone for a complete day with heavy usage. While on standby mode, the battery is expected to work for near about two days. By using the various power saving profiles present in the software, you can extend the battery life considerably. The Lenovo K6 is expected to come with the standard range of connectivity options, such as Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.1 with A2DP and LE, A-GPS and micro USB version 2.0.
