Lenovo is coming up with another smartphone in its Note series, ‘K8 Note’ which the company launched in August 2017. It is a dual SIM phone that will offer few interesting features at a medium price range. The phone is affordable and targets users from lower to mid range segment.
Just like its predecessor, K6 Note, Lenovo K8 Note also comes in two variants based on RAM and internal memory. The device is available in Venom Black and Fine Gold colors. Though it is a low-mid range phone, it is enabled with a fingerprint sensor, a huge battery, an IPS LCD screen, and a few more promising features.
The first impression of K8 Note gives you an appearance of the premium phone because of its nano-coated metallic body which also makes it splash resistant. The phone is 8.5mm thin and measures 6.08 x 2.99 x 0.33 inches in dimensions. It weighs 180gms which seems to be little high but compared to the size of the phone it is lighter too. The device is comfortable to hold, easy to carry and stature to own.
K8 Note flaunts 5.5-inches of Full HD IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen display of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of approx. 401 ppi. The size of the screen stands 71.1% of a screen to body ratio. The outstanding HD display is protected with a Corning Gorilla glass. The screen gives you clear bright display even in bright sunlight.
Lenovo K8 Note is a deca-core smartphone clocked at 2.3 GHz and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The chipset is of Mediatek Helio X23 and GPU is Mali-T880 MP4. In a first time of its own, the smartphones’ manufacturers are offering a deca-core processor. Lenovo would integrate the same in a low-mid range phone to attract the consumers.
K8 Note is available in two variants. One of the variants will host 3GB RAM along with 32 GB internal memory, whereas, another variant will host 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory respectively. Both the variants are expected to provide lag-free and smooth experience to the users. The internal memory is still expandable up to 256GB with the help of microSD card.
Lenovo K8 Note will sport dual rear-cameras of 13 megapixels and 5 megapixels of f/1.7. The camera is assisted with dual LED flash and quite a few features like face detection, geo-tagging, HDR, panorama, touch focus, etc. The dual cameras with dual flash will ensure bright and clear pictures even in low lighting conditions. The front camera is again of 13 megapixels of f/2.0 and is also assisted with a LED flash. The front shooter is just enough to give you beautiful selfies and a clear display during video calling. Both the cameras are good enough to click best pictures for a wonderful memory every time.
The primary and secondary cameras support video recording of 1080p @ 30 frames per second. The upcoming Lenovo device can play audio and video files of types MP3/ WAV/ eAAC+/ FLAC player and MP4/ H.264 player respectively. It also has 3.5mm jack.
Lenovo K8 Note is backed with a power-packed battery of 4000 mph which is from Li-Po and at the same time non-removable. The battery is big enough to provide long-lasting support. It offers 3G standby time up to 378 hours, and talk time on 3G up to 25 hours. The battery also supports turbo charging facility so that you should never get rid of this phone.
The phone has dual SIMs which are 3G and 4G enabled and also support other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/nac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, A2DP, LE, Hotspot, A-GPS, and more. K8 Note is enabled with micro USB 2.0, USB On-The-Go and FM radio..
