Lenovo Group Ltd has announced that it will be launching its new product Lenovo K8 Plus in September 2017. Its recently launched a new smartphone is expected to make huge profits with the new features that will be available in it and is sure to attract a lot of buyers towards itself.
The Lenovo K8 Plus will be targeting Android users who are willing to buy a new smartphone that will be available in the mid-price range.
The Lenovo K8 Plus has a 5.2 inches FHD screen and that is full HD type. The screen resolution is about 1080x1920 pixels and the pixel density is about 401 ppi and supported by about 16M colors. The dimensions and weight of this model is unknown yet it can be expected to be very user-friendly for customers to handle it while using it. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 cover. The fingerprint sensor feature will be front mounted. The power button and the volume buttons will be on the right edge. It will have a dual-SIM slot space, where only micro SIM cards will be accepted. This model will be available in two colors silver and gold.
The Lenovo K8 Plus will be supported by a faster 64-bit processor Octa-core processor which comprises of 2.6GHz octa-core processor so that the system can provide faster and better performance without any problem of slowing down or lagging. The GPU is of Mali-T880 MP2 and the chipset is comprised of MediaTek MT6757CD.
The operating system is Android’s latest version 7.1.1 (Nougat). The internal memory is about 32GB and it has a 3GB RAM. The external memory can be expanded upto 128GB.
The camera specifications for the Lenovo K8 Plus include 13MP+5MP primary camera and 8MP secondary camera. The rear camera has a LED flash beside it for taking sharp and clear pictures even under low light while the front camera has no flash beside it. The image resolution is about 4616 x 3464 pixels. The other features for the camera include geo-tagging, autofocus, smile detection and digital zooming but it does not have the option of Optical Image Stabilization. The front camera also takes good quality pictures worth satisfying.
The video recording feature for the rear camera of this device is very good as it captures video at 1080p@30fps. The videos are viewed in full HD quality and they are also very clearly shown. The features for the video recording include continuous shooting mode and HDR (High Dynamic Range). The video quality provided by the front camera during a video calling will also be very good and will be viewed clearly.
The multimedia features for this device includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, loudspeaker and FM Radio. It supports MP3 player for audio and MP4 and MPEG4 for video playing. It will also be having active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.
The Lenovo K8 Plus has a non-removable Li-ion battery with a power of 4000mAh that will last for nearly a day or two before the charge runs out completely. It has no option for quick charging. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G network bands. It also supports 4G Volte for better calling experience. For 4G bands it supports 2100/ 1900/ 1800/ 850 and for 3G bands it supports 850/ 900/ 1900/ 2100. EDGE and GPRS will be available in the device. The NFC payment option and Infrared port will be unavailable. Some of the other features that will be included are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, A-GPS, light sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer and HTML will be available for browser.
The Lenovo K8 Plus will be a mid-priced model because of the new updated features that will be available in it. But this model has its own pros and cons, let us briefly go through them:WHAT WE LIKED
