The Lenovo Vibe k5 Smartphone launched in February 2016. The USP of the phone is its 4G support, which again is a little farfetched from the company’s point of vision as 4G is still in its nascent stage of development. So let’s see, if this phone has the ingredients to succeed in the market. You may find many smartphones that have similar specs like the Lenovo Vibe k5 that too with half its price, but the design and quality that Lenovo offers with this phone is noteworthy.

The display brightness and contrast are perfectly stabilized and come with different themes and colours. Although you can’t expect the sharpness to be the same as on the full HD screen, the display of this phone will not disappoint you. There will be no problems about colour reproduction and viewing angles of the phone. The design of the phone has been peculiarly kept traditional with not much craftiness and rugged, the phone has slight curve at the corners with a steel metal body at the rear of the phone.

Videos and games load instantly and work fine, though we did observe some stutter when playing massive games, we did not see any stutter when playing heavily encoded videos. The processing of the phone is normal as compared to the other phones. Although it further optimizes hardware and software performance, thus enabling its users to have an ultimate Android experience. The performance is fairly average and could use in a very sophisticated manner by the users. The primary camera comes with 13 megapixels autofocus camera with LED flashes with Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Face detection, HDR, Panorama features in the camera settings with makes it even trendier in the Android phones. The videos recorded are a little blurred although the camera provided with 13 megapixels; the camera quality is not that helpful. The videos are although recorded at 1080p@30fps but are a little out of focus. The secondary camera comes with 5 Mega Pixels and gives amazing selfies. Talking about the rear camera, it struggles to focus on objects. On top of the slow focus, the images captured, even in broad daylight, lack consistency. Barrel distortion observed in some of the pictures snapped by the camera. Overall, the rear camera has room for improvements. The front camera, on the other hand, captures some pretty decent selfies. The audio quality of the Smartphone when tested with our headphone was nice, but the same couldn't say for the speakers. The loudspeakers seem to crackle at full volume, and the sound gets tinny, too. By using the various power saving profiles present in the software, you can extend the battery life considerably. The connectivity options include Wi-FI, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, and 4G with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 comes with all the latest features in the Android world; you may find phones with better specs than this, but the phone provides an excellent processor, huge battery life topped with a nice secondary camera making it eligible for catching your attention. The phone offers an amazing battery life, and so this phone can become your perfect travel mate. If we talk about the negative aspects of the phone, then the first thing to note is the phone’s common design. The phone looks average in appearance, and much could do with its design. The second point to note is the average camera performance, although the secondary camera is fairly nice.
