The smartphones industry has seen an immense growth in the recent times, all thanks to the huge number of demand in the entry segment smartphones. The entry level smartphones offer a huge scope of growth, and all of the smartphone manufacturers are trying their level best to capture a significant market share too. So, in the quest to attract entry level smartphone users, LG, shall launch its “LG K3 2017” smartphone in the coming future. The phone shall act as successor to LG K3 2016. The phone shall have an exactly will share similar design as its predecessor i.e. LG K3 2016. The phone shall weigh around 130 grams, which would make it quite handy. The phone shall also come in two color variants i.e. Black and Dark Blue. For an entry level smartphone, the display seems to be decent enough to provide a reasonable viewing experience. This phone is supposed to feature with a Quad-core processor that is expected to be backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset. The processor shall be powerful enough to provide a decent Android experience. However, general performance of the phone could be a little sluggish at times. One may not play heavy apps or games on this phone, as then the phone shall lag or stutter too much. The phone shall work on Android version 6.0 i.e. Marshmallow, which is getting common for a budget segment smartphone. A 1GB of RAM is also expected to be provided in the phone, which we think is more than enough for a budget smartphone. The internal memory provided in the phone is expected to be 8GB and could be further expanded up to 32GB using the microSD card slot provided in the phone. The phone shall offer dual SIM support and shall also support 4G networks.
The phone shall feature a 5MP primary camera that shall be supported by LED flashlight and digital zoom. A 2MP camera shall also be provided in the front. The images captured by the camera shall turn out be just fine and one cannot expect the camera to capture highly detailed images. The image quality might worsen in dim lighting conditions. The front shooter is supposed to feature a 2MP camera, which would be a massive improvement than its predecessor that featured with a VGA camera. The camera could also do video recording. The phone shall feature with a loudspeaker which we think shall get loud enough for a small room and a 3.5 mm audio jack shall also be provided in the phone. Talking about multimedia, video player has been given on the phone that can play video formats like 3GP and MP4. The music player can play MP3, AMR, MiDi, WAV songs, and ringtones include polyphonic.
If we talk about the battery that shall be provided in the phone, The phone shall come with a 2100 mAh Li-Ion battery and shall be replaceable. The battery would be the huge improvement compared to its predecessor that featured with a 1940 mAh battery. With the expected battery specification, one can easily expect that the battery would be able to last for a complete day with moderate to heavy usage. The connectivity options shall include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth Version 4.1, A2DP, LE, A-GPS, FM radio and microUSB version 2.0. The phone is expected to feature with three sensors i.e. Accelerometer, proximity, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope. Navigation options shall include turn-by-turn navigation and voice navigation, while other connectivity options shall include tethering, computer sync, and OTA sync.
