Among the new K series smartphones from LG, the most affordable is K8 (2018). The company has announced the launch of this phone in the second month of 2018 and would expect to do so in April 2018. The device is expected to be shipped with a quad-core processor accompanied by 2GB RAM and an average performing battery. LG K8 (2018) is wrapped in a plastic body which is curved at the edges. The device is designed in a way that it gives you metallic look. It measures 146.3 x 73.2 x 8.2 mm in dimensions and weighs only 152 grams. This makes it easy to hold in hand as well as in pockets. On the rear side, lies primary camera with LED flash. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The volume and power controllers are placed on a left side.
On the front side, K8 (2018) hosts 5-inches HD IPS display which has good viewing angles. But the outdoor legibility under bright sunlight does seem to be not clear. As of now, there is no information on the protection of the screen with Corning Gorilla glass. The selfie shooter is placed just at the beginning of the display next to speakers.
