LG has refreshed its ‘K’ series and on parallel launched its ‘X’ series too. Very recently the company had launched X300 that features similar to ‘K8’, and now LG has plans to launch X400 which seems to be a sibling of K10. The only difference between K10 and X400 is that the latter is expected to have HD DMB support that enables mobile TV viewing.
LG X400 is expected to be an octa-core device with 32 GB of inbuilt memory and 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to be priced little high and therefore, will target high-mid range of Android users. The device might come in Black and Gold Black colors.
LG X400 flaunts a 5.3-inches IPS full HD display that has 720*1280 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 294 ppi. If the handset is priced high on the budgeted range, then the resolution of the screen seems to be less when compared to other mobiles in the similar price range.
The upcoming device from LG is expected to measure 148.7x75.3x7.8mm in dimensions and would weigh around 142 grams. The weight and the dimensions of the phone are neither heavy nor big to carry comfortably in hand or in a pocket. From the leaked images, we can make out that the rear panel is non-metallic and the edges are rounded off, similar to that of K10. The primary camera with LED flash is placed on the rear side which is followed by finger print scanner. The secondary camera is placed on the front side above the screen along with a speaker. The design and appearance of the X400 are not great but it is handy and comfortable.
LG X400 is expected to run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat version and might sport octa-core processor. The processor will be a combination of two Quadra –core processors of 1.5 GHz and 1.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 of MediaTek MT6750 respectively. The device will have a 2GB RAM which makes it easy to perform. Though the processor is not high-end and the RAM is also moderate, the users may experience difficulty during multi tasking.
The disappointing feature of X400 is that it has only one SIM slot, but this will support 4G with VoLTE. The phone comes with an inbuilt memory of 32 GB which is also expandable via micro SD card. The expandable limit is though not confirmed as of now the available memory space is also sufficient to store your required information and apps.
The device would be enabled with HD DMB feature that will allow the user to watch mobile TV comfortably. This is an exclusive feature which LG has not yet implicated in the earlier K8 or K10 series.
The primary camera of LG X400 is expected to be of standard resolution, i.e., 13MP with LED flash. The features of the rear camera are not confirmed in detail, but it is expected to host regular features like autofocus, panorama, etc. The front shooter will be of 5MP without LED flash and support video calling too. Even the multimedia features of the smartphone are not yet confirmed and X400 would have FM radio by default but will come along with 3.5mm jack.
Both the cameras are expected to support video recording, though the density of recording is not yet known.
The battery capacity of LG X400 is moderate with only 2800 mAh power which has been observed to be very less when compared to other smartphones of its price category. The battery is non-removable and may not support quick charging feature too.
Being a single SIM host, the same will be enabled with 2G, 3G and 4G with VoLTE band 40 internet connectivity. If we have to talk about the wireless connectivity options then, we can say that LG X400 would host Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.20version, NFC, etc.
About the sensors, the smartphone would host fingerprint, proximity, accelerometer, ambient light, and few more.
LG X 400 is expected to be a moderate performer with a comparatively high price. Though the specifications of the phone are not too inspiring but as the same is not revealed yet, it would be too early to comment on them.WHAT WE LIKED
