In the recent success of its smartphones, Motorola seems to be working on a new smartphone i.e. Motorola Moto M. Recently a smartphone with the model number XT1662 was found on the Tenaa certification site. The site revealed the design details of the smartphone and showed the smartphone from all angles. Also, the site hinted about the few specifications that would be coming along with the smartphones. Another leak from another source hinted that the Motorola Moto M would feature the fingerprint scanner on the back panel of the smartphone. So without further ado, let’s see what this smartphone might offer to its users.
The phone is expected to come with 5.5 inches IPS LCD Capacitive touch-screen with 16M colours and screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The phone is supposedly having a dimension of 151 x 75 x 8 mm. The phone’s support for the dual SIM facility for Nano-SIM is still to be confirmed. However, seeing the current specs, one can expect the phone to have a good display with bright colours, which is consistent with smartphones with such resolution display. The design of the phone appears to be rather stylish with its full metal body and its fresh design.
The Motorola Moto M is rumoured to run on the latest Android OS version 7.0, i.e. Nougat which is a big upgrade software wise. The phone will supposedly feature a MediaTek MT6750 chipset and 1.9 GHz Cortex-A53 Octa-core processor with Mali-T860MP2. With the rumoured specs, playing heavy games and videos would be no problem. Also, with the expected specs, the scope for any lag or stutter even while playing multiple applications is rather negligible. The processing power of the phone is expected to be impressive and should be capable enough to perform rather daunting tasks easily. The Motorola Moto M is expected to come with 32GB of internal storage while expanding memory using the memory card slot is yet to be confirmed. This Motorola Moto M is supposedly having 3GB RAM, which is becoming a kind of standard with the new generation of smartphones.
The primary camera is expected to come with 16MP autofocus camera with dual-LED (dual tone) flash, geo-tagging, phase detection auto- focus, HDR, panorama features in the camera. Although the camera has been provided with 16MP; the camera quality will largely depend on the existing lighting conditions. The videos are expected to be recorded at 1080p@30fps. The secondary camera supposedly has 8MP shooter, thus powerful enough to capture some decent selfies.
The audio quality of the Smartphone is expected to be nice. The phone is supposedly packed with all the features and sensors, such as Fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass. The messaging sector of the phone has been put into the SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Mail, IM and the browser has been set to HTML 5 with no java support. The photo/video editor, Document viewer, has also been added to the phone. The phone comes with a Vibration MP3 WAV ringtones with a loudspeaker and 3.5mm jack.
The Motorola Moto M is expected to come with a non-removable Li-Ion Ion 3000 mAh battery, thus enabling the phone to give a long battery backup. The battery is supposedly impressive as one can use the phone for a complete day with moderate to heavy usage. The connectivity options also include 3G and LTE. The Motorola Moto M is expected to come with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/nac, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.1 A2DP, LE, A-GPS GLONASS/ BDS (region dependent).
