We did not observe any lag or delayed touch response when playing heavily encoded 1080p videos and there was no tearing and glitches. Heavy games, like Asphalt 8, ran smoothly, all credits to the powerful Adreno 405 GPU, and there was no lag observed of any kind. The phone comes in 16GB and 32GB models, and the internal memory can be expanded up to 256GB using the MicroSD card slot provided in the phone.
The Motorola Moto X Play provided with a whopping 21 MP primary camera that is assisted by (dual-tone) dual-LED flashlight, phase detection autofocus and checks quality. The secondary camera provided with a 5 MP camera. Full HD Videos recorded with the phone with options of recording at 1080p@30fps video quality. The primary camera has other features that include Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and auto-HDR mode. The camera works brilliantly in bright light conditions, as the images it captures, are of high quality and capture a lot of details, the only problem we observed with the camera was the focus sensitivity, as it took a lot of time to focus on various objects. The camera works average in dim lights as the image it captures lack details and possesses a lot of noise. The front camera takes decent shareworthy pics.
The Motorola Moto X Play phone is powered by a 3630 mAh non-removable battery and can deliver up to one day even with heavy usage, which again is pretty impressive. The battery also supports fast charging. The speaker quality is impressive as it produces very clear and crisp sound. The phone does support Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, dual-band, Hotspot, A-GPS, NFC and microUSB 2.0. The phone supports 4G.
