All set to release during the other half of next year, i.e., 2017 when Oppo has plans to launch is latest smartphone. Oppo Find 9 promises exciting features like a 21 MP rear camera combined with a 16 MP camera which supports Smart Sensor Technology which is exclusive to Oppo Phones. It also expected to come with a dual edge technology display wise while the hardware is going to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 combined with a whopping 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Sources also say it will come with a battery of 4100 mAh and the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. Having around 6 million users already, this smartphone is one of the most awaited ones from Oppo, expecting its users to cross a threshold of half a billion. So let us see some of the leaked features of the phone and decide whether it’s really worth all the hype?
Oppo Find 9 is expected to offer a 5.5-inch dual edge AMLOED touchscreen with a multi-touch display screen. This is a better option as compared to IPS LCD screen that other OPPO phones have. It gives a better saturation on the screen and has filters attached on either side of the screen providing a bright and dark contrast filter with polarised light. It also will come with a 2560 x 1440 Resolution combined with over 16 M colours. It will offer a capacitive touchscreen with a 401 pixel per density. Dual edge technology is curved on both the left and right sides with no side bezels. This technology is currently available in Samsung Galaxy Edge.
The performance of Oppo Find 9 is expected to be great, and its configuration makes it one of the most awaited smartphones of the year 2017. It is expected to come with an Octa-core 1.9 GHz processor and MediaTek MT6755 SoC chipset. What more the Oppo Find 9 is rumoured to come with 4GB RAM and a 64GB internal storage and is expandable up to 128 GB, giving other Chinese makers like Huawei a competitive edge in the market. Not only that, if the rumours are indeed true, this means the phone will have performance well equivalent to an iPhone 7 or a Samsung Galaxy s7. The GPU of an Adreno 530 is expected in this smartphone which is ideal for gaming and combined with the storage will provide a platform which is suited for hardcore gamers. As far as the software is concerned, it will expect to provide an Android 7.0 Nougat, which is the latest version.
One of the amazing things the Oppo Find 9 is rumoured to come with is a 21 MP rear camera with a smart sensor image stabilisation technology. Optical stabilisation was a more popular kind with smartphones like LG and Samsung. The advantage of Smart Sensor Technology is the correction over all different axis; roll pitch and yaw it offers. Unlike the optical stabilisation technology that offers only correction on the yaw and pitch; that is on the up and down and the right and left motion of the camera respectively, the smart sensor can help track and correct the image. It reacts to movement in 15 milliseconds, and for 30fps each frame lasts 33ms. It is also said to come with a 16 MP front facing camera.
Although Oppo promises a basic connectivity of Wi-Fi, WI-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 like its previous models, sources say the presence of NFC and HDMI may not be present, which is a huge blow to the other camera settings, since the good resolution camera is better when shared on different screens. It also expected to come with a 4100 mAh battery, which is best if combined with other features. But rumours from some sources suggest a battery of 3000 mAh battery which will be a big step down compared to other features the phone can offer.
