Samsung Galaxy A8 2018

Samsung has introduced amazing devices under its Galaxy banner and the ‘A’ series has always delivered outstanding performance compared to other smartphones. Though Samsung has many options even in the budgetary segment, but when it comes to premium segment, it has few good choices. The company has a plan to release another successor of ‘A’ series in the coming year. The Galaxy A8 2018 is going to be upcoming release from Samsung in the lower premium range.

To withstand in the market, Samsung is expected to introduce bezel-less display of 5.5-inches. The A8 2018 is expected to be released in the first quarter of the said year and would host dual cameras on the front and back end. The device would target higher premium segment of Android users.

Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones are packed with premium design and from the leaked images of Galaxy A8, it is made clear that the company would follow the same trend. Only change can be seen in the placement of the fingerprint sensor. The A8 2018 seems to have a fingerprint sensor in the middle of the rear side. This is because of the rising concerns received for the placement of the fingerprint sensor close to the rear camera in the previous Galaxy versions. The body seems to be metallic as found in the previous A series devices.

The Galaxy A8 2018 is expected to be shipped with a bezel-less display of 5.5-inches full HD AMOLED, similar to that of previous versions. The bezel-less display would give an uplift to the smartphone while competing in the market.

The Galaxy A series are encompassed with flagship features and the same can be expected from the successor too. The Galaxy A8 may be shipped with Exynos 7885 SoC octa-core processor. The device is expected to be released in two variants and the internal memory would vary from 32 or 64 GB respectively. The internal memory is also expandable but the extent of expansion is not yet known. It is again going to be a dual-SIM smartphone that is enabled to provide internet connectivity compatible up to 4G and VoLTE. It will run the latest Nougat version of Android out of the box. The RAM capacity would be either 4GB or 6GB based on the variant.

While going through the leaked information about the Galaxy A8, though not much can be commented but the device would host powerful features to give a seamless performance to the user.

There is no detailed information available about the cameras of the Galaxy A8 2018. From the leaked images, we can find out that the device could host dual cameras on the rear as well as on the front side. The LED flash is also accompanied with primary and selfie shooter that would click clear and bright pictures. The camera quality is expected to be superior not because of the price segment, but we can assume it based on the performance of its predecessors. Both the cameras are good enough to perform video recording and are loaded with a lot of features.

The device is expected to be shipped with various multimedia features that can play audio and video formats. It also seems to host FM radio and is packed with 3.5mm audio jack.

Though there is very less information about the battery, Samsung might introduce dash charging feature to enable fast charging of the battery. The battery capacity would be 3300mAh approximately which is again an exciting feature.

The device might host internet connectivity of 2G, 3G, and 4G and also a voice over LTE. Among the other connectivity options, the Galaxy A8 would host Bluetooth 5.0 version, Wi-fi, hotspot, USB Type C connector, etc.

The device is also expected to host many sensors that include proximity, accelerometer, fingerprint, gyroscope, and ambient light.
