Samsung has a huge dominance in the budget segment of the smartphone industry. Samsung has nearly used the same hit design concept for most of its budget segment of smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is expected to be launched in the upcoming months, so let’s see what this phone might offer to its users.
The phone is expected to come with 4.3 inches Super AMOLED Capacitive touch-screen with 16M colours and screen resolution of 480x800 pixels. The external dimensions of the phone are expected to 130.1x67.6x9.5mm, thus making it a handy smartphone. The phone is expected to weigh around 131 gm, thus making it lightweight too. The phone will only feature single SIM facility for Nano-SIM. With the current specs of 217 ppi display, you can expect a decent enough screen, however at this resolution, the display might look a bit jagged sometimes. There will be no problems regarding the colour reproduction and viewing angles of the phone due to the use of Super AMOLED touchscreen. The smartphone is expected to have a Screen to Body Ratio of 59.84% and would be sharing the same design clues as the previous budget friendly Samsung smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo will run on Android OS version 6.0, i.e. Marshmallow. The phone will supposedly feature with a 1.5 GHz Quad Core Processor of 1 GB RAM. With the current specs, one can expect to play light games and applications. However the same can’t be said for heavy applications and games. Also, with these specs, one would not see any stutter even while playing heavily encoded videos, too. The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is expected to come with 8GB of internal storage, while the internal storage could be expanded up to 128GB using the microSD card slot provided in the smartphone.
The primary camera is expected to come with 5MP camera featuring digital zoom and LED flashlight. The videos are supposed to be recorded at frames like 1280x720 @ 30 fps. The secondary camera supposedly has 2MP shooter, thus seems capable enough to provide great video calling experience. The rear camera is expected to capture some decent snaps, but one can’t expect highly detailed images with these specs. Also, low light photography will largely depend on lighting conditions.
The speakers provided in the smartphone are expected to provide decent sound. The phone features a 3.5mm jack and supposedly packs sensors like proximity, accelerometer sensor. The messaging sector of the phone has been put into the SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Mail, IM and the browser has been set to HTML 5 with no java support. The photo/video editor and Document viewer have also been added to the phone. The phone comes with a Vibration MP3 WAV ringtones.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is expected to come with a Non-removable 1900 mAh Li-Ion battery and promises talk time up to 11 hours on 3G networks. The connectivity options also include 3G and LTE. The phone is expected to come with Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.0, A-GPS GLONASS and microUSB 2.0.
