Samsung has continuously produced a range of mass hit smartphones. Users have a deep trust in the Samsung brand, and so all of its smartphones see a fantastic reception in the market. Samsung is one of a kind company as it has bestseller smartphones in all price segments, thus making it a unique company. Recently it has been rumoured that Samsung would be launching its Samsung Galaxy On5 (2016) smartphone. So, let’s see how this smartphone may turn out to be in real life and if it could be the next bestseller from the house of Samsung.
According to the online reports, there is no some massive change in the design of Samsung Galaxy On5 (2016), and according to us, it is the same as Samsung Galaxy On5 (2015). The phone shall feature with the same rectangular design with curved edges and elegant look. The phone shall feature with a physical home button and two soft-touch capacitive buttons. The phone shall have a little larger dimensions compared to Samsung Galaxy On5 (2016), as it is expected to feature with external dimensions as 5.62 x 2.74 x 0.32 inches. The phone is expected to weigh 142 grammes, which again is quite reasonable. Right now there is not much information, as to the number of colour variants the phone shall come in. However, the gold colour Samsung Galaxy On5 (2016) is confirmed at the present moment. The phone is expected to feature a 5.0-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours that would provide a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The display is expected to have approximately a 294-ppi pixel density, and that would be enough to provide a decent display. With the current specs, the display could turn out to be impressive.
The phone is expected to come with an Octa-core processor. However, the exact specifications of the hardware are not known at the present moment. But we can surely expect more improved performance than Samsung Galaxy On5 (2015). The rumoured Octa-core processor already is one step ahead than the Quad Core processor that was provided in Samsung Galaxy On5 (2015). So, we can easily expect a power packed performance from the phone. The phone shall run on Android platform and we believe that the phone would be running on Android OS, version 6.0.1 i.e. Marshmallow. According to the online reports, the phone is expected to come with internal storage of 32GB, which could be expanded by its users up to 256GB using the second SIM card slot provided in the phone. A 3GB RAM is also expected to come with the phone, which according to us is incredible. The phone shall allow dual SIM support and would also support 4G networks.
The phone is expected to feature a 13MP primary camera that would be backed by autofocus and LED flashlight. The additional features of the camera would include Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR. The secondary camera would feature an 8MP camera, which according to us is a massive improvement than compared to Samsung Galaxy On5 (2015). The video recording is expected to be done at frames like 1080p@30fps. With the current specifications, one can easily expect far better picture quality compared to Samsung Galaxy On5 (2015). The front camera would also capture users attention, as an 8MP front shooter is bound to capture beautiful selfies. A loudspeaker would also be provided in the phone and so is a 3.5mm audio jack that would come with active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.
The phone is expected to come with a 2600 mAh Li-Ion battery, but we do not have any information if the battery would be removable or nonremovable. We hope the battery would provide enough juice to run for a complete day with heavy usage. The connectivity options would include,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, A2DP, A-GPS, GLONASS/ BDS (market dependant), FM radio and microUSB v2.0. The sensors that are expected to come with the phone include accelerometer and proximity.
