The first impressions of the phone made us realize the phone’s striking similarity with Oppo F1. The phone also seems to be inspired by the iPhone 6S. Overall, the phone looks pretty attractive and boasts an amazing build quality. If we talk about the general design of the phone, the volume rocker, and the power button has been provided on the right edge of the phone, while the hybrid SIM card slot is provided on the left edge of the phone. There is nothing provided on the top edge of the phone and lower edge houses the earphone jack, speaker, mic and port for battery charging. The fingerprint scanner is provided on the front panel of the phone. The external dimensions of the phone are 6.06 x 2.97 x 0.30 inches and the phone weighs around 154 grams. The phone is available in two color variants i.e. Crown Gold and Grey. A 5.5-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The display is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Overall, the display looks sharp enough, and the color reproduction seems fairly accurate. The display of the phone is decent, however, in no way best in class.
The phone features an Octa-core (1.5 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53 + 1 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) processor that is backed by a MediaTek MT6750 chipset. The processor provides a decent experience and is able to handle heavy applications. The Mali-T860 MP2 GPU ensures that games are played on the phone without any problem.
Overall, the processor proves to be decent, however, not as powerful as processors provided in other smartphones within its price range. The phone has internal storage of 32GB and the internal storage could be increased up to 128GB using the hybrid SIM card slot. The phone runs on Android version 6.0.1 i.e. Marshmallow with the help of Funtouch OS 2.6. The phone supports dual SIM and also supports 4G networks.
Talking about the most touted part of this phone, camera. The phone features with a 13 MP Primary Camera with Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor and backed by phase detection autofocus and LED flashlight. The camera settings include Exposure compensation and ISO control. Shooting Modes include continuous shooting and High Dynamic Range mode (HDR). Camera features include Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus. The main attraction of this phone is not the rear camera but the front shooter. As a 20-MP front camera has been provided in the phone. The front camera is supported by a LED flashlight too. When we tested the rear camera, we found out that the picture quality turned out to be decent and many times we found that the images turned out to be overexposed. We also observed that the rear camera was not able to focus on things properly. The front shooter, however, takes amazing photographs and certainly lives up to its expectations. We were able to capture some amazing selfies from the phone. A loudspeaker and 3.5mm audio jack with active noise cancellation and a dedicated mic are also provided in the phone.
