Vivo is all set to launch the successor of V5 in the month of October 2017. Like other Vivo models, the upcoming V7 is also a selfie-centric smartphone which hosts 24MP of front shooter and 16MP of the rear camera. The phone comes with decent specifications and will be powered by octa-core processor. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat version. It is expected to be priced higher side of the budgetary segment. Similar to its predecessor, V7 from Vivo will also target Android market of the lower premium segment.
The V7 is a 64GB variant that is expected to come in various color options like White, Black, Gold, and Grey which are all priced the same. Let’s take a look in detail.
Vivo V7 flaunts a 5.2-inches Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The screen appears bright and vivid colors and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, though sometimes the outdoor legibility is an issue when placed under the bright sunlight. The phone is packed with narrow bezels to deliver an unusual visual experience.
The device features a metal body with the home button on the front which also doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The primary camera with flash is placed on the rear side and the secondary camera is on the front side. The power button and volume controller are located on one side of the phone. The phone is very decent to look and comfortable to hold too.
The Android-based Vivo V7 is expected to run on the Nougat 7.0 version. The phone sports octa-core processor of 2GHz of Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and Adreno 506 graphics. It is backed with 6GB of RAM and ensures lag-free performance to the user. One can easily perform multi tasking even while playing high graphic games without compromising on the performance. The V7 is embedded with fingerprint sensor for extra security of the device.
Vivo V7 is a dual SIM smartphone (nano+nano) types each with a support to 4G connectivity. The device also comes with an internal memory of 64GB and this is expandable up to 256GB by inserting micro SD card. The default internal memory space is large enough to share lots of data without any fuss.
The V7 is another selfie-centric smartphone from Vivo. It comes packed with a primary camera of 16MP with flash and a secondary camera on the front side with 24MP with flash. This enables bright, clear and high-resolution pictures even a low lighting conditions. The cameras come with many features like auto-focus, geo-tagging, face detection, touch focus, digital zoom, HDR, smile detection, and much more. The front and rear cameras can be used to for video recording and the output can be of 1080p at 30 frames per second. Since the phone is yet to be revealed, it is too early to comment on the quality of the videos taken by the phone.

The Vivo V7 is backed with a li-ion battery of 3500 mAh which is not user removable. Though the phone does not come with turbo charging feature that can super charge the device in no time, the battery is huge enough to last for more than a day when used moderately.
The internet connectivity option is available via dual SIM slots that are enabled to support 2G, 3G and 4G options with VoLTE. It supports 2G of GSM 1800 / 1900 / 850 / 900 MHz bands; 3G of UMTS 1900 / 2100 / 850 / 900 MHz 2G bands and 4G of TD-LTE 2300(band 40) FD-LTE 1800 band. When we talk about the wireless connectivity options, we can say that the V7 comes with various options like Wifi, Wifi 802.11, b/g/n Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC chipset, EDGE and few more. Among the wired connectivity options, the phone has USB Type C.
