There have been rumours that the Vivo would be launching two new smartphones shortly i.e. X9 and X9 Plus. These phones shall act as the successor to the previous Vivo X7 and X7 Plus smartphones launched by the company. According to the latest leaks, it is believed that the next gen phones shall have far better specs compared to the previous Vivo X7 and X7 Plus. Recently, two new smartphones were found to be registered on the TENAA website having the model numbers as X9 and X9L. We believe that the X9 and X9L devices would turn out to be Vivo X9 and X9 Plus smartphones. So, let’s see how the Vivo X9L smartphone might turn out to be real life.
If we go according to the leaked images online, we can easily say that the phone has taken design inspiration from the iPhone 7, as the antenna band on the rumoured Vivo X9L seem to be curved just like the iPhones. The phone is expected to feature with a physical home button upon which would be embedded the fingerprint scanner and two soft-touch capacitive buttons. The volume rocker and the power button seem to be provided on the right edge of the phone. The external dimensions of the phone are rumoured to be 162 (H) x 79 (W) x 7.4 (T) mm and the phone is expected to weigh around 199 grammes. It is also believed that the phone shall feature with a 5.88 inch full-HD super AMOLED display that would provide a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The display is also expected to be provided with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The FHD display is bound to provide an impeccable display and shall prove to be lively enough. We can easily hope that there would be no problem with the display of the phone, as the FHD screen would easily provide amazing viewing angles and fantastic sunlight legibility. Overall the rumoured specs seem to pretty interesting.
According to the online rumours, the phone is expected to feature an Octa-core (1.95 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A72 + 1.44 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) processor that would be backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 MSM8976 Pro chipset. The processor shall be powerful enough to provide an amazing Android experience. At such specs, playing heavy apps and videos won’t be a problem and the rumoured Adreno 510 GPU will make sure that heavy games and videos shall run without any lag or stutter. The phone is expected to run on Android platform, and we hope it would feature with Android version 6.0.1 i.e. marshmallow. The latest version of FunTouch OS is also expected to come with the phone. The Vivo X9L is expected to come in two models having internal storage of 64GB and 128GB. We currently have no information about the fact that the internal storage could be increased or not. The best part of the phone would be its RAM memory as the phone is expected to feature with a whopping 6GB of RAM, thus making it one of a kind phone. The phone shall support dual SIM and would definitely support 4G/LTE networks.
It has been rumoured that the Vivo X9L shall feature a 16MP rear camera that shall be backed by phase detection autofocus and LED flashlight. The camera features would include Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus. Shooting modes should include Continuous Shooting and High Dynamic Range mode (HDR). The camera would do HD video recording. The main attraction of the phone shall be the front shooter, as it is believed that a 20 MP + 8 MP Dual Front Cameras shall be provided in the phone. The front shooter would also be backed by front LED flash. With such camera specifications, the camera quality is bound to be fantastic. A loudspeaker and a 3.5 mm jack with active noise cancellation and the dedicated mic is also expected to be provided with the phone.
It is believed that the phone shall feature with a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer non-user replaceable battery. It is rumoured that the battery would support quick charging. Talking about connectivity options, the phone is expected to feature with Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/b/g/n/n 5GHz, Wi-Fi Direct, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS and microUSB 2.0. The other sensors that are expected in the phone are a Light sensor, Proximity sensor and Accelerometer.
