Nubia M2 is a dual SIM smartphone recently released by the Chinese manufacturer, ZTE. Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation is the world’s fourth largest phone manufacturers and has made several Android-based smartphones and tablets.
ZTE Nubia M2 is a mid ranged phone which has been launched recently. The phone comes in various colors like Champagne Gold, Black Gold, etc. The device hosts decent hardware which runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Nubia M2 has gained popularity much before its launch due to its powerful selfie camera and expandable internal memory capacity upto 200GB.
The latest ZTE smartphone, Nubia M2 flaunts a 5.5 inches full HD display that produces bright colors and performs well even when facing direct sunlight. The screen hosts excellent viewing angles for better legibility. The actual phone dimensions are 154.50 x 75.90 x 7.00 which makes the phone large sized when compared to other phones of this range.
The phone appears to be slim and is covered on the rear side with a fiber panel along with a metal rim surrounded all over. This gives a premium look to the phone. With a weight of 168 gms, it is not too difficult to hold, but with the length of 7 inches, it comes in the category of phablets.
The Nubia M2 is armed with an octa-core processor that hosts Snapdragon 625 chipset. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM. The combination of Snapdragon 625 and 4 GB RAM ensures smooth functioning of the phone. You can easily perform multitasking without compromising on the performance of the device.
The smartphone is shipped with an internal storage of 64GB, and the same can be expanded upto 200GB using a microSD card. The inbuilt memory space is in fact enough to store your daily data and the apps required. The expandable memory option is also enormous that will enable you not to run short of memory.
The phone features dual-SIM of type GSM, and both the slots support 4G with VoLTE. When you go short with the memory space, the same can be expanded using the SIM slots. The device houses a 3-choose-2 hybrid SIM slot. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Though the Android version is not latest as compared to smartphones of similar price range, the existing version too renders satisfactory results.
The front shooter of Nubia M2 is already in the news as it is configured with more pixels compared to the primary camera which is on the rear side of the phone. The phone is packed with 13 megapixels of rear camera that clicks amazing pictures. The primary camera is assisted with an LED flashlight to click pictures even in dull lighting conditions or during night time. The front camera is of 16 megapixels which is higher than the primary. The front shooter is embedded with lots of features to get perfect selfies and to perform video calling.
Though not much has been shared about the speaker and microphone quality of the phone, with the support of VoLTE, the voice quality will definitely be superb. The phone does not support FM by default.
ZTE Nubia M2 is fuelled by a powerful non-removable Li-Ion battery. The battery is packed with the capacity of 3630 mAh which will last easily for an entire day.
When it comes to the connectivity options, it was already discussed that the Nubia M2 supports 4G connectivity with Voice over LTE. The device is also tagged with a number of other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, and a Type-C port (for wired connectivity).
While talking about the sensors, Nubia M2 hosts Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope, Compass/ Magnetometer, Accelerometer, etc.
